Day 1 -------
1. XML Publisher Introduction
2. Creating an RTF Template Designing Template Layout· Defining Headers and Footers· Conditional Formatting and Looping· Number and Date Formatting· Page Breaks, Page Totals and Running Totals
3. Creating a PDF template. Designing the Layout· Adding Page Numbers and Page Breaks· Performing Calculation
PRACTICE SESSIONS By end of day 1, trainees would have developed their first BI Publisher report.
Day 2 -------
Generating Oracle Reports using XML Publisher Registering Templates Creating Data Definition· Creating Template Definition Changing existing D2K reports to BI Publisher report Creating new BI Publisher Reports XDOViewer Concurrent Program Practice Sessions that covers everything that has been taught up till now. Homework Exercises
Day 3 -------
Advance Uses 1. XML Publisher Extended Functions. Advanced Reports Options (Batch Reports & Dynamic Data Columns)· Sorting and Regrouping XML Data· Examples of complex Reports· Best Practices
2. Creating E-Text Template Structure of E-Text Template· Setting up Date tables
Day 4 ------- XML Publisher and its integration with Oracle Applications Framework (OAF).
