Few FAQs related to this course: 1) Where is the Location of training? Is it conducted online? Yes, this training is done online, using interactive Web Conferencing software. Hence you do not need to travel and can attend the training from home. The participants will be able to get their queries answered in real-time from the trainer. 2) How about Audio? You will listen to the instructor using your speakers of your PC. You will find all the details once you register for training. 3) What are training requirements? A good quality headphone & microphone to listen & speak to the trainer is must. You can hear the trainer through phone but to talk to him you will need a microphone 4) What will be the timings of training? Indian Standard Time (IST) – 6:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) – 7:30 am Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) – 12:30 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) - 4:30 am Mountain Standard Time (MST) – 5:30 am Central Standard Time (CST) - 6:30 am 5) What is the cost of the training course? Yes, you will be able to practice during the weekdays as your access to the system will be retained. You will have access to training environment for full 3 weeks. 7) How much of the class will be practical? Trainer will be conducting all sessions practically which you can see remotely at your place & will connect to you through collaborative suite, where you can discuss each & every thing with him at the time of session itself. 8) Would we be provided with learning material? Trainer will provide training material, and will guide you to location of documentation of exercises. These exercises are comprehensive. 9) What are the pre-requisites for this course? Pre-requisites are basic concepts of any object oriented programming and SQL. 10) What is the duration of each training session?
The duration of each session will be 8 hrs (depending upon topic)
11) Is this training on 11i or R12? Due to popular demand, we will use 11.5.10 version for training on OA Framework 12) Is it necessary to have prior knowledge of Java before enrolling for OA Framework Training? A foundational knowledge in Java always helps in grasping Java related coding which is required in OAF. However, at the same time there is no deterrent for someone who is a novice to Java to pick up OA Framework. 13) What all concepts do I need in java to understand this course? - Read online Java notes on the following from any Java site - i. OOPS Concepts - Inheritance (Keywords such as extends, final); Interface (Keywords such as implements). ii. Classes and Objects A basic OOPS concepts understanding would be beneficial. Feel free to ask the trainer in course of training about a particular Java concept. On a brighter side, OAFwk gives all trainees to start learning and understanding Java alternatively. 14) Should I know XML for the OA Framework training? Knowledge of XML technology is not required.
